PORTELAGEM DOLMEN (VILA CHÃ)

Dolmen, a type of stone monument found in a variety of places throughout the world. Dolmens are made of two or more upright stones with a single stone lying across them. The most widely known dolmens are found in northwest Europe, southern Europe, particularly in the Iberian Peninsula.

It consists of a “tumulus” well maintained and an stone slab urn sloped to the camera. This was originally formed by 14 to 15 granite pillars. Currently there are only nine, some of which partially fragmented. From the top coverage only remains a small portion.

Dmitri, Merces and I visit this one and although Dmitri attempted to to contact the the makers, wifi reception to the pre-historic times was no good, probably MEO.
